Domestic Crisis Management
India is experiencing sustained protests over electoral administration, with demonstrators demanding the resignation of the poll chief. These protests represent a serious challenge to Modi government legitimacy and occupy substantial political bandwidth across Indian institutions and public discourse.
International Security Engagement
Modi recently engaged directly with international security matters, including a call with a Flydubai pilot regarding a cockpit stabbing incident. This involvement demonstrates continued Modi attention to India's international relations and aviation security concerns amid domestic instability.
The convergence of protest pressure and international incidents suggests Modi faces a compressed political window for policy initiatives in 2026.
