Nuclear and Military Leverage
Kim Jong Un directs North Korea's nuclear weapons program and ballistic missile development, generating significant geopolitical attention. Recent signals track 63 missile and strike related events and 41 nuclear weapons events, reflecting the weapons program's centrality to his influence. Trump has reaffirmed favorable relations with Kim Jong Un, indicating his nuclear arsenal provides negotiating leverage with major powers.
