What Is Keir Starmer Doing Bow
Keir Starmer is serving as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom following Labour's 2024 election victory.
His current influence score stands at 11/100, reflecting significant domestic and international challenges constraining his authority.
Security and Defense Pressures
The U.S. has recalled B-1 bombers from a U.K. air base after men allegedly plotting an attack were released, signaling American concern about British security protocols. This incident undermines Starmer's government credibility on counterterrorism and defense coordination with the primary NATO ally.
Migration Policy Reversals
The UK and France have ended their "one in, one out" Channel migrant exchange deal, marking a policy retreat for the Starmer administration. This termination reflects the difficulty of managing cross Channel migration through bilateral agreements and suggests limited diplomatic leverage with European partners on a priority domestic issue.
