How this is verified, and why it beats one announcement
An official events page only lists events that organisation hosts. Sam Altman also speaks at events it does not host: third party conferences, earnings calls, summits, award shows, interviews. GeoGazet aggregates every appearance across every organiser into one page, confirms each against multiple independent sources, flags single source items, and records when it was last checked. When an official announcement exists, it is cited here as one of the sources.
